PS3 and Phillips Plasma 42" - Blu-ray Forum

I just purchased a PS3 and i have a 42" Phillips Plasma does 1080i. I can play Blu-rays fine download and play games fine even watch older DVD's, so i went to best buy bought war hawk did there little patch and Then BLACK SCREEN no (Sound or Video) have to reboot the PS3 to have it come back up again. i took the game to a buddys house he put it in his PS3 and works fine. So has anyone ever heard of this issue?

Yep. It's an issue with the update.

Delete the Warhawk file in your game folder.

When it asks you to download the update, say NO (cancel it). Just complete the loading from the disc.

Then, quit the game.

Start the game back up and download the 1.2 update.

That should fix you up nicely!
