I'm a big BTTF fan but I'm going to resist buying these steelbooks. Already got the dvd, then bluray, then 4k sets when each of those came out.

Same here. Bought all the videotapes years ago too.

I, like, just bought the 35th anniversary steelbook set some months back when it was real cheap on GRUV.
If the artwork on these is any better, though... I just might have to double dip.

Is that the one where the 3 steelbooks combined formed the Delorean on the back, I absolutely hated that design so I didn't even bother

Yup, that's the one!

Call me simple but I'd appreciate one that's just the theatrical poster artwork for the three films. They go well together and would look pretty slick on steelbooks.

Jaws, Back to the Future, and Jurassic Park will always get re-releases. It's the golden trio for Universal. One movie from the 70s, one from the 80s, and one from the 90s.

They still haven’t released the Back to The Future Trilogy in a decent box set on 4K though.

I quite like the UK digi-pack, doesn't have the melting face Marty on the front which is a big plus and has the theatrical posters for each movie with the discs on a tray in front of it poster.

I doubt it's what we'll get, but if it's the OG poster art I'll be all over these.

I'll be thinking about this. My favorite trilogy of all time. I have multiple DVD, Blu-ray and 4K sets of this.

Last time I bought these it was that Target exclusive film collection steel. At least at the time i think it was a Target exclusive. I didn't like that last set that formed the Delorean.

For those curious about the premium giftset, I posted the description of it a couple weeks back in the BTTF main 4K thread:

Quote:
Limited-edition premium giftset in a one-time build. Universal will only manufacture 5,000 units worldwide. Giftset includes an exclusive mini-Gibson guitar (design only available in this giftset), SteelBook, booklet featuring behind the scenes information, certificate of authenticity, a full-size OUTOFTIME license plate, license plate stickers, and (13) paper prop replicas featured in the Back to the Future trilogy!

I saw on another forum it will be likely to be priced at $200 USD, you got any leads on that?

Don't have US pricing yet, but that is around what it'll be in Canada.

I’m sure it’s a mistake, but Walmart has that set for $50 right now.
