Just discovered that this has been available in the UK for a few months. My favourite Von Trier.
Has anyone seen it? I noticed that the iTunes HD version is unusually sepia-toned. It looks OK but it’s different to what I remember. Does this disc have the same picture? Any thoughts about the release? Last edited by BigNickUK; 09-09-2025 at 07:39 AM. |

So I bought the disc and, sure enough, it has the sepia tone of the iTunes version.
It’s more pronounced in the earlier ‘nighttime’ scenes. It’s still a nice enough image but does feel different to how the film originally looked. I wonder why they changed it? |
