Default Panny BD30 Problem

Hey bought this player yesterday and watched the movie Sunshine. My problem is this movie froze at different spots in the movie. Projector is Mitsibushi HC6000, Receiver is Denon AVR-3808. Player was set to HDMI,Bitstream,24P(turned this off and still froze) Using all 1.3 version HDMI cables.

Any thoughts before I return.

Thanks

Make sure you have the latest FW installed (V1.4). You can find it here: http://panasonic.jp/support/global/c...bd30/bd30.html

You may just want to wait until next week when the new FW version that fixes the LFE bug is released and just update once.

I, too, suggest that you wait for Monday...or a few days later. This is a known issue and Panasonic is going to release a big f/w update on Monday.

Cool, didn't know about the new firmware coming that soon. Seems like I just installed 1.4

Anyway, to the OP - This is a known issue between Sunshine and the BD-30. The movie freezes temporarily and the audio stutters. It's not your player causing the problem. Hopefully, the new firmware will take care of the problem.
