Default What is the maximum audio connection that your HT set-up supports?

I'm not interested in codecs, I'm interested in the maximum connection your HT supports for audio.

2) Optical/Coaxial
3) Lossless (HDMI, D Link, Analog RCA Multi channel inputs, etc.)

Composite? That's normally a video hookup. Do you mean stereo/TV speakers?

Mine currently supports 6 channel analog input. I'm thinking of getting something that has HDMI.

Uhm, I think it would be better if you put it as such:

A) RCA inputs only (including 5.1-7.1)
B) RCA and optical/coaxial digital
C) RCA, optical/coaxial digital and HDMI

Some receivers don't have 5.1-7.1 RCA inputs, just stereo.

Mine supports HDMI, but not multi-channel (stereo only).
