I never thought I'd see the day. Sony (and there fans) may want to get an 'Eternal Sunshine' done on their brains to erase 2006 from their memory! The mighty PS2 beaten by the lowly 360! But it's good 360/HD DVD news. Japan usually adpots new tech pretty quick. I wonder when the add-on goes on sale there..

PS3 is still selling well there as expected. I'd love to see some blu-ray sales numbers from Japan.

Is this a JOKE? Are they actually comparing the 360 to the PS2? What next?

That is like saying "OMG the PS1 is beating out the SNES "

The message should read:

I never thought I'd see the day. Microsoft/Toshiba (and there fans) may want to get an 'Eternal Sunshine' done on their brains to erase 2006 from their memory! The once mighty and now almost defunct PS2 beaten by the recently popular NEXT GEN 360! But it's bad 360/HD DVD news. Japan doesn’t usually adopt HD-DVD tech pretty quick. I wonder IF the add-on will ever go on sale there.

PS3 is selling better than expected. I'd love to see some of those great blu-ray sales numbers from Japan.

In the bigger scheme of things, it doesn't matter much. It means that the migration from PS2 to PS3 has begun to take shape. Why buy the PS2 with backwards compatibility to PS1 when you can buy the PS3 and get backwards compatibility with PS2 and PS1?

As a whole, SCE still beats MS. And who really likes to hype out that the Wii beats the PS3 but 360 fanatics?

I don't think one week of sales is "consistant". Sure you can see a change but that doesn't neccesarily mean it always going to be like that. It's one "week" people. Big whoopy doo!!! It like racing and beating a Camaro one time and having the camaro come back and win the next 3 races. Like someone mentioned, why don't they base it off one month sales? Also is this the first time this has happend with MS outselling PS2? LOL

I'd say that article was very sarcastic. I mean, the 360 can't even beat the PS2 in Japan, which is seriously very sad. I don't think the 360 consistently beats out the PS2 in sales in North America to be honest.

StarkyLuv is one of the biggest FUD-spinners over there.
No logic whatsoever. He's in the HD DVD vs. Blu-ray smackdown area a lot, but has all the Blu-ray supporters on ignore, so all he sees are the HD DVD posts.
What a wally!
