Question klipsch quintet or synergy?

which of these is better?

http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...6&catid=20323#

http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...44&catid=20323

and by the way...what sub would you get with these? i thought every speaker had to match the same speaker line? or is it different with subs?

and finally...im looking for a setup for around 1000-2000 max...is klipsch even the way to go? or should i look at bose, polk, jbl, infinity and others as well?

I've got an entry level Polk speaker system, and I love them. I haven't had any complaint what so ever. I can only image what their upper level speakers sound like.

I have a Klipsch system (see sig) and am very happy with it.
There is something radically wrong with the Quintet price in your link. The Quontet II is an older system, genreally available online for $300. This was my first system and it is very good.
The newer Quintet III lists for $500 at my Best Buy, and is much improved.
For a great deal, watch for Best Buy special which seems to run Quarterly:
Quintet III $300
Klipsch 10" sub for $250 (list $400)
Total $500 for a really good system. The satellites can be stand or wall mounted.
The SLX system is an upgrade, and you can use the 10" sub with this too.
Again, watch for a sale on these.
Good luck!
