Default Bee Movie on Blu-ray or lack thereof (funny story)

So as most of you know, I was the one who posted "seeing" the Blu version of Bee Movie in the back room of a Walmart about 2 weeks ago.

So I go into walmart today and I ask the electronics manager Mike, did you get any copies of Bee Movie on Blu ray? He says no? Its not coming out on Blu ray until Dreamworks settles. I said, but I saw like 12 copies in the back on Blu, and he starts laughing in my face and says wow I got you too. I looked at him very confused and he says, we got the HD DVD copies in and one of the employees who is a HUGE fan of dreamworks animation said there is no movie he wanted on Blu than Bee Movie and Shrek the third, so what they did was opened the HD DVD boxes (this was after the announcement that Bee movie was removed) and took the box art and slid it into Blu boxes making it seem like it was a Blu ray movie. Of course is says HD DVD on the side, but I never got a real good look at it so I didnt see that or I wouldnt have posted it. Sorry if I got anyone excited, I didnt mean to basically cause a false rumor over a practical joke they did.

Agreed. Doesn't make sense that a manager would actually open up brand new merchandise to play a joke on customers. Also, products that are illegal to sell have to be shipped back to the factory. Why would this manager actually open them up?

Are people really running out of ideas to get a higher post count? Mods, bring on the ban.

Actually it wasnt the warehouse guys which is surprising cuz I heard crazy stories from them. It was the electronics manager. I thought he had more productive things to do, guess not haha
