Edward Scissorhands and From Hell - Blu-ray Forum

I was thinking about picking both of these up this weekend from Amazon. I've read the PQ was amazing in From Hell, but how's Edward Scissorhands?

From Hell is far superior. ES is still a real treat though compared to DVD. (As always)

Worth getting you think? I'm just hoping the PQ is better than xXx, I was a little dissapointed w/the grainyness of that blu-ray.

For me?... Yes. It was a nice impovement over the DVD. If you are unsure, Get From Hell first and think about ES. Maybe later on. But I personally like ES very much. It has grain, but only what was found in theaters as it is with all BDs.

Yea, but I can't pass up a high definition version of one of my favorite movies as a kid. It's been awhile since I've seen it, so I'm sure it'll be a great improvement. Aye, you have a 1965 RCA??? Thats awsome! I bet you're blu-ray's look clean as hell on that thing.

They sure do. I'll probably up-grade to a color TV set this summer. 180p.
