I have a pair of Infinity Interlude II Towers with built in 10" powered subs. I am coming out of my sub out in the back of my receiver and splitting the signal to each sub. It has worked fine with plenty of bass for several years now but am I losing the true bass/sub signal this way especially with True HD and DTS-MA ? I was thinking of purchasing a Velodyne seperate sub since I can pick it up brand new with shipping for $150. Any suggestions are appreciated

![]() If you only have two speakers, I would suggest that you increase the number of speakers to 5 plus a subwoofer. Velodyne makes excellent subs. Hsu Research also makes excellent subs. http://www.hsuresearch.com/subwoofers.html Read the following thread. It has diagrams on how to position your speakers and calibrating them. It also has a section on subwoofer positioning and its interaction with the main speakers. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=38765 |
