I was being serious i play rock band not guitar hero and guitar hero always gets good songs over rock band

Not that I'm going to buy any more GH stuff, but the this would be a tempting buy.

Areosmith as well. Lots of good songs there.

Might make for a good Christmas purchase or something.

But seriously, I enjoy both despite a preference for one (can you tell?). Despite my feeling that both the Aerosmith and Beatles Guitar Hero games would be far more entertaining in the Rock Band arena, I have to hand it to Guitar Hero for landing some top talent (I know the Beatles game isn't official yet). It's really the only thing the franchise has going for it unless they too eventually adopt drums and singing. In that case I'm all in favor of either game getting whoever. I'll buy like crazy when I can do all three activities on either game.

Alot of beatles songs aren't really possible for rockband, due to the masters being well, very low-track count.

It's possible for Guitar Hero, because, well they only need to be able to isolate the guitar track.

It would be great if a Beatles guitar hero was exclusive to the ps3. sticks tongue out at 360 fans.

That's actually about the gist of the article right there.

Sony made a comment that the climate changed in regards to the backcatalog they hold etc.

Time will tell. For Harmonix at least, they want [and I believe only release with] the coloboration of the artist, even if it isn't necessary given how the rights management goes. There's a nice thread going over it at the rockband forums though.

im probably in the minority on this one, but I really dont like the beatles....maybe a song or two is passable for me, but they never really ever clicked with me....guitar hero 3 can have them.....im def. more jealous of them getting aerosmith then anything
