Which is the better game - Resistance Fall of Man or Call to Duty?

They're both First Person Shooters. The only difference is the graphics. Take your pick.

Not only that -resistance is a sci-fi shooter so maybe that might matter.

Call of Duty 3 is just more of the same.

Resistance is THE PS3 game to get, IMO, especially if you're a FPS fan.

I think I've heard that since Resistance is a 720p-only game, other resolutions are not officially supported by the game but still can be upconverted.

Unfortunately, the scaler of the PS3 DOES NOT (at the moment) upconvert to interlaced resolutions (such as 1080i). Thus, that's where the problem begins.

Since first-gen HDTV sets only support 1080i, this cannot be done for Resistance: FOM. These sets only support either 1080i or 480 res. Since the 1080i IS NOT POSSIBLE for this game, the PS3 has no option but to force it down to 480 resolution which is blurry as hell.

Thus, this is why I recommend that if you only have a 1080i-only TV set, you must stay away from this game (until Sony releases a firmware patch or a software solution).
