Right, i've looked but couldn't see the answer i wanted!

Im going to America next week. If i buy some PS3 games from there, will they work on my UK console?

Yep. PS3 games are region free.

Some online content is regional. Therefore if its a game you plan going online with make sure you can play your friends in the UK with the games you buy from the USA.

Motorstorm is one such game that only allows you to play members from your discs native region. You will however be able to play people in the USA.
