Default Rewards Zone card/points?

I priced out a new gas range, fridge, and dishwasher from Best-Buy, and was wondering how the "rules" work.... if I buy all of these on a new Rewards-zone card, instead of just paying for them up-front, can I get these "points" and how many dollars/pt. etc..

Basically the stuff I'm looking at is $6k or so out the door, so should I get a rewards zone card, or are they just trying to give me some crap I don't need? How much "store credit" with these points can I get for that??? Are there times (should I wait) until there is some promo to get double/triple points??????? Will this even apply to house-hold appliances?????

That's only $120, not worth me starting a C.C. for.... Do they do double or triple rewards points? I think I remember hearing about it..... I'll probably just shop else-where (try to find some clearance stuff to save cash too.....) I don't want to sign up for a C.C. for $120, just not worth it.

thanks for the info though!

You don't need to sign up for a C.C. You can just go to the website and sign up for a rewards card. It's free. Thats how you'll get the 120.

If you use their reward zone card, you get double points.. so its 10 for every 250.

Get the Rewards Zone card. It's just a free program that gives you a very small percentage back in gift certificates. If you wanted to maximize it you might want to look for triple or double reward zone point coupons on the merchandise you buy. It's definitely worth it when spending that much money.

Do they run credit etc.... can you "Purchase" things on the rewards zone card??? if so, I don't want it... because that just shows up as another CC that is "Open" House is purchased, credit is flawless, but I don't want to start putting "dings" on my credit now.

There is a Rewards Zone credit card, but you can get just a Rewards Zone card that is not a charge card. It is free. Basically all it does is keep track of how much money you spend, cash or otherwise and then gives you a coupon for so much off your next purchase. You do not have to charge anything to get this. You can pay cash for your purchases or use another credit card.
