Codec Tester - Blu-ray Forum

Is there some sort of equipment you can hook up to your BDP that will display what is being output when being sent LPCM? My player will be doing all the decoding to my new receiver and I'm interested in seeing if I am getting TrueHD or DD because my player and my receiver will not display it.

What player are you using?

If it's being decoded internally, the player has to show you what it's chewing on

It is the S300. It is unadvertised, so it is not showing it. Paidgeek said this player will do it, and I would like to confirm. I don't have my receiver yet, I should have it next month, so I might be able to confirm by ear? I have never heard lossless.
