More than likely it'll try to cover some of the gap between the two films, taking place after Begins but before The Dark Knight.

No the prologue is the opening scene for the Dark Knight followed by various quick trailer like glimpses. They showed it in Imax theatres. I saw the bootleg of it so can't wait to see it in high def.
