Default Netflix say Indy 4 blu ray.....

Ok don't know if it is correct or not but last time they got an early heads up of an movie going blu. So today I had the option to put Indy 4 as blu ray instead of dvd so we might hear an announcement soon....

At the moment, they're listing EVERY unannounced still-in-theaters title as a possible Blu-ray, which, probably, it will be--
Like Amazon dates, just a software shortcut, and nothing to get excited about.

bill has stated that all summer releases will see blu release this year except for maybe the small indie studio movies. So it is safe to assume that all will be released thus summer. The date of the summer releases is the big question.

I loved the original 3 indy movies, but i thought this latest one was gawd awful, one of the worst movies I've seen in theaters. A couple of decent moments but over all crap, will not pick this up, but looking forward to the original trilogy on bd.

"Crystal Skull" already being prepped for blu-ray. And, though some might say it's not a big deal, it will possibly have THX certification.

It will come day and date, there is no question about it.
Bottom line is though, if you want the whole series make sure you buy Crystal Skull.
That does not mean wait until it is on sale, or buy it used.
It means buy it in the first week or do not ever complain that the other Indy movies are not on blu yet.

Don't think there's a Blu fan out there who's NOT automatically going on the assumption that Paramount jumped onto Blu too late to get the first set day/date with the DVD re-release, and that they're saving the package for Indy4's Blu in November-thereabouts...

(And it'll be nice to finally own an isolated copy of Raiders on disk, as Paramount released the earlier DVD set as special boxset-only "'You'll Take the Other Two and LIKE It!' Blackmail Edition"...)

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING is as bad as "The Temple of Doom". "Skull" may not be great, but it was harmless/enjoyable fun. "Doom" was a hideous trainwreck. And I hated everything but the first five minutes.

you may be right as I haven't seen it since I was a kid, and when you were a kid all indy movies were good, but skull stunk big time. The Indy movies have a special place in my heart, Raiders was the first real movie I saw in theaters (not animation) and my late grandfather took me to see it, so I love Indy if for nothing but that reason. I'll probably rent temple and see how it is over 20 yrs since I seen it last, but it can't be much worse than Skull.

I don't think Skull was nearly as bad as some people think. I enjoyed it. And I went back and rewatched the trilogy again and I came to the conclusion that none of them were masterpieces. There were some truly exciting and even awe-inspiring moments, but they were basically fun adventure movies.

Temple of Doom was great. So to all the haters: you know what you can do.
