Does anyone own or have seen this BD??
I really like the movie... was wondering if it was worthwhile upgrading the DVD?

Ya worth picking up good pq in my words not the best but def worth and upgrade, especially for how cheap you can find it

It's a great film. You'll really need to pay close attention to everything. It's an intelligent script but you'll lose track of things if your mind wanders off here and there. The film is tinted and in many places, grainy but it's the effect the director and DOP wanted. Amazing script and although the sound quality is not always evident because of dialogue, when you DO hear surround effects, they're damn nice. Just remember it's a political drama more than anything. No cars racing down alleys crashing through garbage cans or Meteors smashing into the ocean. Damn good film though. Well done.

Very grainy... intentionally. Good PQ overall by my standards, and a terrific film. You'll need to watch it more than once to catch everything.

The PQ was very good. The film is a junior version of Crash and Babel.

What? The plotline is much more complicated, and not nearly as derogatory in its presentation. Crash (especially) and Babel beat you over the head with their "message." Syriana makes you discover it. I have much more respect and appreciation for Syriana than either other film (though I own all three).

Descent PQ, it's worth it.

It was worth it for the reason that on the DVD version the subtitles played completely under the picture negating the ability to watch it on a wide screen television.

Good PQ helped as well.

I picked it up when it was on sale at Walmart for $15, but didn't like the movie but the PQ is good to my standard.

Great film. While this looks OK on 1080pBD, I hope someone, like Criterion or Kino Lorber picks this up and gives this a UHD release or a decent bitrate AVC 1080p transfer,. But since it is WV, we may be lucky enough for Warner Archives Collection to put out a better Blu-Ray.
