Christian Bale was arrested Tuesday for allegedly assaulting his 61-year-old mother and 40-year-old sister, according London's Daily Telegraph.

what an idiot.

I doubt he will serve much, if any, time. But it could delay any further movies. I doubt it will hurt the batman films much, the current ones and future ones.

Another instance that leaves me wondering why we care what celebrities do off the screen/stage etc...... Celebrity infactuation is disgusting.

I can't believe this! Right in the midst of all this hype and accolades for his record breaking movie. I can just imagine all the jokes now that the media is gonna say on this one.

Lucky for me, I have never gotten into one of thoes forceful window rattling exchange of words with a significant other. But I have seen my share. When it gets too hot in the kitchen, the tendancy is to protect her from him regardless who is at fault, because he is bigger and stronger - which inflames him all the more. It looks like it can never really be a socialy level playing field for him. If she hits, it will often be pushed under the rug as a bad day or something - but not always.

At the very least, actors are just as vulnerable as the rest of us, just with a little more $$$. Still, the spotlight does require more of us, just ask any company manager.
