How many BD Titles do they have now?

Excluding adult and foreign movies, how many unique blu-ray tittles available in the US so far? When I mean unique, I mean TV series like Lost or 24 should only count as 1 title, even though it spanned across several seasons on several discs. Titles like Superman 1 and 2 should count two because it is not a TV Series.

I believe they have 1200+

Not counting non-U.S, releases, small run releases on BD-R, etc, they'll officially pass 700 releases on Tuesday. your criteria may be slightly different (counting Spiderman 1, 2, and 3 as three separate titles while I count it as 2, Spiderman 3 and the Spiderman collection), but no matter how you calculate it, they're basically right around 700.

Not counting porn, small indie stuff, and imports is almost 900 titles now. Collections count as each title 1,2,3, they don't count as 1 or 2 except in the case of spiderman because 1 and 2 are only available in the boxset.

900 or 1200 have to be including announced but not yet released titles. The totals I have are (as of last Tuesday):

Movies -- 532
Movie collections/Boxed sets -- 30
TV series sets -- 34
Music/concert titles -- 47
Special Interest titles -- 50

Total: 692 releases

30 releases are due on Tuesday, so that will bring the total to 722. There were also 39 HDNet and Living Landscape titles that were put out on BD-R discs at one point, but those aren't REAL releases by most any standard, and aren't currently in print. Also, I don't include porn, which would bring the number up.

Now you may disagree with what I consider a special interest title or something, or in how you count the movie collections category, but not by 200 or 500 titles.
