"Zodiac" is already supposed to be coming out this year, so TLG does not affect it's release.

As for SP:BLU, I'd come near buying TLG over it...

Yeah I actually watched this in theaters and thought it was pretty bad. I went in expecting a movie with the feel of Austin Powers and came out pretty disappointed.

All Day & Date releases should be released on Blu-ray regardless of our personal like or dislike of said release.

Absolutely. I find it incredibly immature that someone would create a thread to bash a movie coming out just because of personal prefference.

Again, just because you didn't like it (and probably haven't even seen it) doesn't mean it shouldn't be released on Blu-Ray.

Why deny someone who did enjoy it the pleasure of adding this to their collection? Oh, because we should go by one person's standards. I get it now...

So now we've gotten to the point where we are *****ing about movies that ARE being released. Doesn't matter if you liked it or not....at least Paramount is showing support for blu.

If they didn't release it, we would have 20 threads *****ing about it not being released.

If you didn't like the movie don't buy it. I dont understand why people buy movies just because they are on blu.

I only know one person that's actually seen this movie and they liked it. I'm probably going to buy it (although not at $27.95 or whatever it's priced at right now)

I hope all those criticizing the movie in this thread have actually seen it.

What exactly are you referring to??

A) The suckfest that is Love Guru??

B) The re-DONKY-less price of 39.00 (suggested anyway)

C) The lack of Disc specs???

11) The fact that Jessica Alba is most likely fully clothed throughout the whole thing??

42a.) The fact that Paramount is releasing this STEAMING PILE instead of any other title in their library???

Thank you.

Generally...I agree with you. I haven't seen this yet so I could be waaaaaay off in my harsh pre-criticism of it...but I don't think I am too too far off.
(call it a hunch)

There are never disc specs in the initial press releases from any studios. There is usually a second press release updated the first for the specs on the disc. Expect specs within two weeks time.

Because it is a new release and people will buy it?
Better thread title would be "Why post, thefutureofhollywood?"
