does anyone know when either movie is coming out on blu-ray?

Considering they weren't on Universal's HD-DVDs list, I would assume it would be some time - plus, we don't have very many of Spielberg's films on our format. Soon enough, my friend! But there is no official word that I know of yet.

For a holdover, may I recommend highly the DTS Collector's Edition DVDs? The sound quality is incredible!

yeah i'd rather just wait for a blu-ray version so i will just remain with my jurassic vhs copy of it for now

Trust me, if anybody had any info on a Blu-ray release of Jurassic Park there would already be a thread about it.

You make it sound like someone is intentionally withholding details just for a situtation like this.
