Default flOw + expansiOn – Trophy Patch Released

Anyone played this yet? I'm interested to see what people think about it. I wish they had a demo so I could try it out. The video's didn't look too appealing to me, so I wanted to see how people who actually played it felt. Seemed like a 3d version of snake?

I haven't played it yet, but it looks awfully familiar to a flash game I ran across on the internet somewhere.

It based on a flash game, which should be somewhere on the net still I think. The PS3 version looks to be similar, but more advanced/bigger/better. I look forward to it. Totally forgot it was out today! I'll have to download it tomorrow.

Not worth the $8. It's boring and the controls suck. All you do is float around eating things...it doesn't keep track of score...you can't die...there's no challenge or anything.

You're missing the point, it's more of a chillout experience for current gamers and an attractive starting point for non-gamers.

If you were expecting something else I doubt you were patient with the tilt control. It should make for good practise unless there's a huge (software induced) deadzone like in the Zelda Twilight Princess RollGoal minigame.

its cool and mellow..you get lost playing it. While theres is no score you get bigger by eating and evolve.

I thought that it was a bit hard to control and kind of slow at first. 3 hours later I had to make myself quit. Once you get used to the controls its rather addicting and there are actually puzzles of sorts with the different creatures. For $8 I think its a great buy.

As soon as I downloaded flOw I let me GF try it and she played it for hours, I just watched her play, lol. She loved it. It's very relaxing and fun.

I think it's a nice break from the regular video game. No HUD, no nothing. Just pretty graphics. You can even play 2 player. Just have another person pick up a controller and press start and they can start, when they put it down eventually there creature goes away. It's all very .. simple! I really like it.

I bought it yesterday. Amazing game, very addictive. Controls take a bit to get use to but in the end there is no better way to play. Beautiful game...runs in 1080p. I hope nobody makes the mistake of letting this go by.

Cool, thanks for the mini-reviews. Is the music nice? I heard it was.

fl0w is awesome.

It has a very basic purpose as a game and it delivers.

The visuals on my bravia are stunning. If i had bandwidth left for today I'd post some pictures but in the meantime here's a video I made:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuA1OQ40W6M

Obviously it's received the YouTube compression treatment but trust me when I say that this game is crisp, bright, colorful, and a ton of (relaxing) fun to play.

I decided to share this game and found the max 4 people so we all ended up getting it for $1.60. Two of the guys were from the UK and so they were really glad to be able to get it now. Game sharing is great!!!!!

Anyone purchased FLOW from the Sony Store?

Is it more exciting than the trailer? Actually, it looked a little interesting, but not sure it's be interesting enough to buy.

I haven't bought it, but a friend of mine said it's worth the money, he really enjoyed it. He lives about 500 miles from me now, so I haven't played it, either.

Yeah. It's kind of a timeless game. Once you play it its pretty awesome, then you finish it and its the same old thing, but a couple months down the line you can pick it up again and play. It's good if you want to show the system off to new players or kids.
