Default Mr & Mrs Smith Director's Cut - French BD

I ordered the Director's Cut of Mr & Mrs Smith from amazon.fr but what I got was the regular PG-13 version not the DC. After my complaint that they had sent me the wrong version they sent me another one - and again the kiddie version. I checked the site and now amazon.fr has removed the cover scan that had "Director's Cut" spread across it. Now they have no cover image at all. Fnac.com still has the cover with Director's Cut on their site.

My question: Does the Director's Cut BD even exist in France? Or did 20th Century Fox release the regular version also in France like in the rest of the world? Funny thing btw is that this French BD is not region coded despite that it is from the region code zealots Fox! Anyone in France who knows if the DC has been released or not. I appreciate your help, thank you in advance!

Not that I know of. But it was announced in France and now that it is released it appears that they also only released the lame PG-13 version. Or amazon.fr is persistently sending me the wrong product.

at first i didn t get it right and then i remebered an article in ine of my favortie blu ray french site wich is dvdrama( at the time i was also confused by this two different covers ), i checked it 2 mns ago, and they say as i remebered wich is that the cover is wrong.
it is well the deirector s cut during 125 mn and not like the back cover says the 96 mn theatrical version ! i posted the article to prove it even though not much people here will be able to read it, at least that s what i suppose, lol anyways, just check it with you ps 3 and see if it s well 125 mn.
oh by the way, in usa this movie has been released on blu ray fox, but in france by "m6 video" that must be why it s not region coded.

(ps: the director s cut is just a little than the theatrical version, at least to my opinion)

Critique Image

I cannot make a coparison as I don't own the Fox release. I have been waiting for the Director's Cut to be released. I can only say that PQ (AVC) and AQ (English dts HD MA 5.1 ch, French dts HD MA 5.1 ch) are absolutely state of the art and rank among the finest blu presentations I have experienced.

The PQ/AQ of the French M6 release and US Fox release is identical. I saw virtually no difference between the 2.

It is region free and has an English DTS-HD MA track (as well as a French DTS-HD MA track). No English subs, only French. Extras do not work on a region A player (as they are encoded in PAL).
