Default Discovering movie goofs in HD

Now that we are re-watching movies we loved in HD. Did you ever find really bad goofs that you can now catch in HD?
Confused yet?
Let me give you an example:
Halloween (1978) Remember the scene when Michael escapes from the hospital? That nurse chick is alone in the car and Michael's hand smashes the drivers side window. You can clearly see a wrench taped to his hand (added strengh to smash the fake glass, I guess). I always knew of this wrench but it was quite a shock to see it that clearly. Cause ya can't really catch stuff like that with VHS.

I don't have Halloween on blu yet, but i will check that out. Sounds interesting.
The only thing i could say, is maybe they meant it to be seen that way. Maybe Michael was more concerned with bodily harm than we thought.

Not a goof, but i just got Nightmare Before Christmas on BD and have noticed about five hundred things i've never seen before. She is amazing, this bluray.

Watching Master and Commander yesterday and noticed that when Lucky Jack was giving his sextant lesson, Midshipman Blakeney had both
[Show spoiler] of his arms intact
. This scene occured after the
[Show spoiler] amputation
.

I'm seeing a lot in older movies. First Blood:Part II had several.

Not a goof but,
Enter the Dragon.
Ever since I saw it for the first time in the mid 70's, I always thought that his "human fly" outfit was black. It's actually blu (no pun intended).

I watched Poltergeist (up-convert) last night and remembering that I was always fascinated by the chairs appearing on the breakfast table. I kinda new how it was done. Basically when the camera pans away you would have several guys put a bunch of pre-glued chair on the table.
Well sure enough, if you look into the toaster on the kitchen counter, you can see a bunch of guys put the prop on the table. LOL.

Also check out the plant in the corner. It moves when the camera pans into the kitchen area. You can totally tell a prop guy ducked back under there before the camera pans back.

Perfect example!
I finally noticed (after how many years?) that when the liquid terminator is flying the Helicopter, he's using a third arm.

Uh-oh.
Here come the third arm jokes.

I noticed that the first time I watched the DVD (or was it VHS?) umpteen years ago. I couldn't believe how obvious it was!

That can be explained away though as he can morph into any shape he wants... so why not have a third arm to make flying the helicopter easier!

I'd love to see Braveheart on Blu... so I can watch ancient scotsmen in kilts... some with sneakers and watches... charge the enemy in HD. Also, LotR, so I can see the car drive over the hill in the background. lol

I noticed that years ago, I believe it was on purpose. The T-1000 grew an extra arm to pilot the chopper while he reloaded.

I thought that was done intentionally.

I thought that was done intentionally because was having to reload his gun and fly at the same time. Thats what I always figured anyway.

I've seen this movie two billion times and have no idea what this is.

BTW There is something I discovered in Ghostbusters. When Spengler says hes scared beyond rational thought, the scene shows Staypuft walking down a street in a sort of top down view. There seems to be a crutch supporting Staypuft 's right leg (left on screen) ???

Additionally, although I can't wait for Goldeneye on Blu, I fear seeing the obvious toy jet crash

I always noticed the third arm, but when I watched the movie on BD a couple months ago, I realized there was a also FORTH arm! Go watch it again and you'll see.

Pearl Harbor. In the scene with Cuba Gooding Jr carrying a tray of food during the attack after an explosion, you can see one of the film crew following him on the left of the screen!

I couldn't believe some of the things I never noticed before until I saw this in HD, the biggest and funniest was when the T-1000 is driving that Semi through the levee, and right as the Terminator comes around the truck to grab John off the bike, you clearly see not only that it is arnold's stunt double but "John Connor" is a man the size of a horse jockey and a 5 0'clock shadow, haha. I couldn't believe I never noticed that. Or another great one is when they flip the other semi and the Terminator is riding the side of it right before the explosion you see its a dummy locked in one position and if you step it frame by frame it's just the dummy who never budges or moves whatsoever as it tumbles through the air, and the left leg almost completely snaps off right before impact hahaha. Those too me where the funniest mistakes I'd ever seen in a movie.

I know there were a ton in Spider-Man. Here's 3 off the top of my head.

When Peter is talking to Ben in the car before he goes to the wrestling match, if you look behind Peter in the car you can see bushes but when he gets out there aren't any bushes behind him.

When the gang attacks MJ (before the upside-down kiss), Spider-Man grabs two of the guys and throws them through two windows behind him, the next shot they're not broken.

When Peter and Flash fight at school, Flash goes to punch Peter but Peter grabs his arm. In one shot Peter is grabbing his watch, the next shot he's grabbing him just below the watch, and the next shot he's grabbing the watch again.
