honestly the only problem that i have with buying blus from this guy is that sometimes he doesnt get them till a week after, so im like a fiend waiting for the good price instead of going to best buy and paying more, lol.

They've been making copies of movies like this in Europe and Aisa for about the last three years. I once caught a fool out on the street selling what appeared to be legit copies of a major film, only to point out that the bar codes on each and every cover were all the same and didn't match up to what I know is the correct one!!! The funny thing about that situation was it too was another Paramount Film, in fact, a very big one released this summer!!! This guy selling the DVD's got so scared at my technicality, he quickly gathered up his copies and headed out to the hills faster than a speeding bullet!!! So, buyer beware!!!

If you do not respond to my qestion or you have since gotten scared and will have deleted your membership on this site, I will understand, because it was very, very stupid of you to have posted what you had found at the fea market. But then, I seriously doubt any lawinforcement will be looking for you, since you're just the excited, overly zealous, uninformed, ineperienced buyer and not the seller. Oh well, in these hard economic times, I guess most everybody might be looking for a bargan, even if it is illegal or under the table.

Relax you'll have a copy in two weeks too.

He's not kidding and you need to leave him alone or he'll banish you to hell or a very dark place...whichever you prefer.

He happens to be the the most righteous member on this site, no correction he's the most righteous person in the world, no correction he's the most righteous person in the whole wide universe. You didn't know??

I agree that the guy selling copies of Iron Man before the street date is wrong but there's really no need to attack the OP. If you're really that wound up about the situation then call the F.B.I. or the local New Jersey Law Enforcement agency and have it taken care of. Even better go to this flea market and without asking just start recording all of the barcodes of every movie this vendor has in stock. I'm sure he'll appreciate it and the two of you will hit it off and become BFF's for life.

wow!! Breaking a street date has nothing to do with copyright laws and there is no such things as "marketing laws" maybe ethics, thats its. Its a civil matter between the studio(Paramount) and the distributers which could result in monetary penalties assesed by them. The police wont get involved as there is no law to enforce.Lawyers will as its a breach of contract.

Any person going through that much effort to make a slipcover, and a 2 disc blu-ray probably would have used the correct UPC?!?! I have bought a bootleg dvd before on ebay, they dont do slipcovers and never do 2 discs with bonus features nor do they do official inserts.

and from the picture, they sure in heck wouldn't have added a sensormatic strip to sell at a flea market. Its legit as far as I can tell as there are screeners out there, so it has been released from the manufacturer and is awaiting the street date.

The OP got lucky, Nice early find
