Default Cars - June

Bill Hunt says that Cars will be 2-disc. Awesome if true.

Quote:
While we're on the subject of Buena Vista and Blu-ray, I've learned today that the forthcoming release of Cars and the Pirates of the Caribbean films will include so much material that they'll be 2-disc sets (BD50s). Cars is expected to be released in late June. Official details should be announced in the next few weeks.

I really wish I could like Cars, but I didn't. Would have rather seen The Incredibles or Toy Story 1/2 from Pixar first.

I'm sure this will be a good disc though, and I hope you guys enjoy!!!

I'm with you on that - I won't say I hated Cars... but... I'm glad that Disney are releasing a strong title to BD.

The Incredibles on bd would be great though.

I love The Incredibles to bits and the Toy Story films are just as good.

Those are must-haves for me on Blu-ray.

Monsters Inc would be such an awesome release, I really hope they do it soon, Cars was too moralistic for my tastes, though I am sure that the girlfriend will want it, so it isn't like I have much choice in the matter.

Sony should work on a 100g disc to avoid these 2-discs set since 200g disc are possible confirmed by TDK. Either way I'm still looking forward to Cars in HD even though I haven't seen it but I do think I'll like it better then Incredibles...

current players, as far as we know, aren't compatible for movie discs over 50gb

They're coming don't worry.

I loved Paul Newman's part in Cars and will definitely pick it up.
