Post BluRay Players region free for DVDs

Hello from Brazil!
Since I'm in South America, I need a BluRay player that can play my Region 4 NTSC DVDs. I've seen some players on eBay that claim to be Region Free for DVDs, and Region A for BluRays. Like this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=200256820600
Does anybody have experience with this kind of modification? Can I expect to have too many problems in the future? I'm going to the USA on December, and would like to buy one of these, because it's much cheaper than the ones in Brazil.
Thanks,
Alex.

Just a reminder, no discussions about making a Blu-ray player region free for Blu-ray discs is allowed. As some contries allow DVD players to be become region free, that discusion is permitted, for DVDs only.

Thanks Josh, that's exactly what I want, a Blu-Ray player Region free for DVDs only. The one in the link is like this, I just want to know how safe this modification is. I'm not worried with manufacturer's warranty, because it's not valid in Brazil anyway.
Regards,
Alex.

Your best bet is the Sony BDP-S350. You can make it DVD region free with a OneforAll remote.

Grubert,
Could you please be more specific? If I can buy a Sony BDP-S350 at, let's say, BestBuy or Wal Mart, it would be much better for me. What's exactly a OneforAll remote?
Thanks,
Alex.

Alex,

- Multiple UK owners have tested it and it works. I am not sure if it works with US players because nobody has tested it yet (mind you, many players sold there don't even support PAL!).

- OneforAll is a well-known brand of "universal" remotes which, if correctly programmed, can change or remove the region coding of many DVD players.
