Question HDMI not working right on my Vizio?

could there be something wrong with my HDMI inputs??

when I switch my Vizio to SD channel 3 it works fine but when I switch to the first HDMI input for Directv I get video but no sound from the set's Speakers?. and when I switch to HDMI input 2 for my Blu-Ray I cannot get nothing at all? says "No Signal"?? It was working the day before. and I checked all Connections and did all the resets.

thanks for any info.

Leave it to that HDMI input you want to view, turn off your TV, then turn it on. See if that works. It's a handshaking issue. Some TVs handle it faster or better than others.

Check your HDMI connections...make sure they are properly inserted. I've had it happen whereby one cable came loose. I wish HDMI cable came with a lock-option, similar to VGA.

Thanks Guys! after rechecking everything I turned off and unpluged the HDMI cables waited a few mins and reconected and then powered up and it's all working again!

this is the first time that happen. but now I know what to do. its kinda like when you have to do a hard reboot on a pc.

thanks again you guys
