And apparently they've retroconned the story that Jason ALWAYS had the hockey mask, and that the "Mom" and "Burlap sack" things never happened...

(And still no lawsuit from the Road Warrior guy.)

I wasn't very thrilled when I heard news of the remake, but the teaser trailer looks pretty interesting! I'll definitely check this one out in theaters.

I thought the exact same thing? Why does he look like is he running the 400m?

Rest of it looks interesting though, but I am VERY fond of the first 4 friday movies, we'll see

I agree with you that the first four films are definitely the best and most nostalgic for me also. I am quite partial to part 3.. despite the 3D gimmick. It was a pretty cheesy movie, but still much fun.. and it takes me back!
