Default Jarhead - Non-US version to have all the bonus materials?

Will be exciting to find out whether or not this will be the case!

I mentioned that in another thread. It seems like every non-us version has all the bonus materials. I wonder if Universal changed something since their original announcement

Hey guys, sorry to bump this old thread, but I'm looking for some help. I want to purchase the UK Blu-ray of "Jarhead," because I hear it has all of the bonus features that were left off the U.S. release.

I'm curious though, is this release region-free? This is very important to me, as I don't have a region-free player and don't want to have to buy one.

Also I'm curious if the menus of the UK Blu-ray are the same as the Universal releases in the U.S.. I really like the uniform design of the U.S. Universal menus and I'm hoping this release has them designed the same way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: Also, I'm curious if there are any other non-U.S. releases of this that are also region-free, contain all of the extras, have English writing on the packaging, and maybe don't have ugly European/Asian ratings logos on the front.

Thanks!

The menu design on the international releases are the same as the US releases.

John Carpenter's The Thing includes all the extras.

Those extras are in PAL format, though, so U.S. PS3's can't play them. He may need to know that...

AFAIK, the extras on those Uni titles (Jarhead, The Thing) are NTSC.
