I want to burn movie on to Blu-ray disc with AACS and BD+ protection. How can I do it? (which software do I need?)

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the technology is not available publicly for BD+ protection. You know, hackers and all wanting to dismantle it so they can figure out how to crack it for illegal copies and all.
But I'm not really knowledgable in those areas, this is just my initial thoughts on the subject. There are many here that will be able to get you your answer. Good luck, and welcome to the forum! ![]() |

To the best of my knowledge, in order for you to add those features you need professional authoring tools which are totally out of price and meant for industrial use.
Pardon my question but why would you as an individual want such high protections of your personally burnt Blurays ? |

It seems that I should employ myself in some studio like warner bros or paramount or universal. Oh no.

As I said, there is no way to burn AACS and BD+ protected discs. They are currently reserved for replication.
Here’s an overview of what’s involved: http://www.emedialive.com/Articles/R...rticleID=14071 |

I guess I don't understand why you seem so proud to know that they can be pirated. Who cares!? The problem is providing info on how it can be done just aids in piracy and hurts the legitimate paying customers.

Well, thank you to both of you for providing the links. After reading, it's a bit reassuring to know that there is the possibility of BD+ being tweaked to defeat the hack. while I do like to be able to back up my own private copies, I also realize that that ability allows others to make illegal copies for re-sale. In the end, that only hurts capitalism, which like it or not, is why we have the advances in technology that we do today. I don't think that we would be where we are today had it not been for the initial belief that BD+ offered better protection, and possibly still could. Just my two-cents...
