Catwoman wasn't bad because of Halle Berry, it was bad because it was a horribly written script. You need to blame the writers and not the actress for that one.

As for Beyonce playing WW, I'm not sure either way how I feel about that one. But come on...if the WW script stinks the movie will suck no matter who plays her.

No...Beyonce is a singer. She should sut up and sing. She was good in goldmember, because she spoke 7 lines and sang a song.

Also...since you opened up an old sore with me...the fact that they put her (or anyone other then a professional swimsuit model) on the cover of the SI swimsuit issue was blasphemy. For decades, that issue has been turning young models into household names and boosting thier careers and for Beyonce, it was simply MORE exposure. Bar Refaeli should have been on the cover that year and if she was, she would be EVERYWHERE right now.

Look man...I get it. You like Beyonce...I like her too, but these entertainers need to stay on their respective sides of the tracks and let the pros do what they do. I wouldn't want to see Megan Fox on stage singing pop music either.

a movie about an all girl singing group that eventually breaks under the pressure of one of the girls going super big with a solo act. that wasn't that hard for beyonce to act in that one. it wasn't that much of a stretch. she's certainly had experience. it's like saying whitney houston was a good actress in the bodyguard.

She acted. Watch the movie (if you haven't seen it). There's a difference in acting and trying to act. In Dreamgirls she did a hell of a job. I'm not saying she can do Wonder Woman, I'm just saying she has proven she can act.

i need to see dreamgirls. i've been meaning to. but even when it was out i wasn't expecting much from beyonce seeing as she is almost basically playing herself. or at the very least she's been through some of the same stuff so it's not a huge stretch. i'll go in though with an open mind when and if i get around to watching the movie.
