I just hope they don't screw up the original plot too much. I do plan on purchasing the blu ray of the original movie. I think its going to be released in December. And, yes, I will go see the remake in the theatre.

From the trailer it seems that they have screwed with the storyline. Humans are killing the earth(global warming) and must be destroyed to save the planet. Did Al Gore consult on this one?
