Warner Bros. is using the higher capacity of blu-ray to put more on the disc. It's like a win/lose situation. You get more features (which I know most ppl don't care about) but it takes longer time. You just got to be patient.

LOL... Warner would never do such a thing. They will port the HD-DVD encode over when BD players can do PiP. We might get lucky and get PCM or THD, but that's about it.

Honestly if they use VC1 or AVC there is enough space on a BD50 to do a double encode fake PIP job like Lionsgate did on Decent. It would make more financial sense to do that so they can get the discs out sooner.
