Default BD10 firmware

Warm greetings,
I am a new member and have a newbie question.
I have a Panasonic BD10 and need to update to new firmware.
At the moment it is 1.1 and the latest is 1.4.
I have an Applemac so I cannot download the update from Panasonic.
When I get a disc from them what do I do?
Does the 'update' load up automatically when you put the disc into the machine?
Or what do you have to do?

Henry.

When you get the disc, simply put it in your machine and leave the door down. It is very important you do not close the front plate, because when the upgrade is done, it will eject the disc, and if the front plate is closed, you could do damage to your machine. Besides that, just wait 15min and it will be done.

I downloaded my update on to my Mac no problem at all. Just unzip and burn as usual.

Filterlab,
When I went onto the Panasonic site it said the download was "Supported for Windows only" ?
How do you unzip and burn on the Mac?
I have only had the computer for 5 weeks.

Henry.
