Default Where to place speakers ?

Hello, so I finally ordered Onkyo 606 and Polk RM6750 to get some better sound than the one comin out from the TV. But this being my first speaker setup where do I put the speakers ? I guess front on the sides of TV, center underneath it but what about rears ? I included some pics of my bedroom where this is gonan get installed, do I go very top or middle or right beside my head ? Do I place it pointing down or just pointing towards the Tv ? I know this is very cheap setup and maybe I shouldn't b asking question like i'm installing professional system but maybe it does make a difference how I place it. And the sub do I place it pointing towards me ?
here's pics of my bedroom, plasma is 46" .

If you move your bed out from the wall about 2 feet, then you could place the rear speakers facing inwards towards the bed and just place the front speakers accordingly, center, left and right in front of the TV, Subs sounds ALOT better when placed next to a wall, id say anywhere in that room next to a wall!

No, subs sound worse when placed next to a wall. Do not confuse overly abundant, muddy bass with "better" bass.

Many people would disagree with that statement...

True. And they'd be wrong! (I know I'm failing to not sound like an arrogant prick; sorry...)

The deep, tunefull bass produced by a properly set up sub or speaker system is light years ahead of the thumping, one-note grunge that typically results from near wall (or worsem in corner) placement.
