I'm looking to build up my own home theatre, and I've been impressed by some of the pictures I've seen in the Community section.

My question is, how much would it cost to build your own theatre? With all the chairs, projectors, sound-systems, etc. Plus, I'll have to finish some parts of my basement first.

I'm sorry if this isn't supposed to be posted here, I'm still new I don't really where the hell to post this....

about $7,000-$10,000 dollars or more.

you should count on a fair bit more than that, for a dedicated theater room you will spend more than that just on gear. my set up is in my living room and i am close to $15,000 just on gear and my system is not done yet.
