Consider this:

1. Go to live.com and search for Polk Monitor 60. Click on the ebay/30% off cashback link.

2. Choose a new set of warranty-covered Polk 60's among the Buy It Now links. Here's an example of what you're looking at: http://shop.ebay.com/items/?_nkw=pol...r+60&_osacat=0

3. Get 30% cashback in 60 days ON TOP OF them being a good price. (Not as good initially as the Newegg deal).

Your total will be around $211 once the cashback kicks back. You'll have saved about $30 bucks. I didn't figure what the difference would be on the 70's, but you get the picture.

Anyway, as far as your question, I'd recommend you give 'em a listen but I'm not sure that the 70's have been as well-received as the 60's. I have read that they don't quite sound as good. I can't say for sure, but I CAN say that I love my M-60's.

If I remember right back from when I researched the monitors they 70's were 3-way and the 60's were only 2-way. I saw contradicting comments on some wesites though: some said that the 60's were 2-way, and some said that they were 3-way. I can tell you that I have just the 50's and those alone are waaaay too loud for my condo, but I love 'em!
