It was released with a 1080i picture not a 1080p, so this is a fixed re-release.

Its 1080P The version that came out before was 1080p also, but it mistakenly printed 1080i

Actually the previous version WAS 1080i, the only way to watch it in 1080p was with the PiP feature turned on. I believe this one was supposed to be a fixed update to where it will play in 1080p without using that feature.

I want to buy the movie but only if it's the 1080p version. Is there a difference in UPC number? Any way to tell. Also if there is a different UPC I will need to knwo what it is here in Canada as the UPC's for the Canadian versions are different than the US ones even though they are the same region. I bought it today in Canada, the UPC is 88392900494 (there was another UPC code starting with 08, so I hope it's the correct version), I'm gonna check sunday at my brother's if it's 1080p since I don't have a 1080p display yet (only a 720 p LCD and a 1080i CRT set)...

Update: The UPC 88392900494 for Canada is not the corrected version.

I called WB for the replacement and no problem.

my replacement turned up today ,took a while

The UPC in Canada for the corrected Blu-Ray disc is: 883929017102.
I picked it up today at my local HMV store in Saskatoon. I popped it in my PS3 and confirmed the 1080P output through my Panasonic info display.

Its been resolved, I don't know how to tell the difference though. I recieved my replacement a few weeks back.

Anyone know how to tell the shopping difference between the newly released "fixed" 1080p version of TERMINATOR 3 compared to Warner's previous F-up 1080i Blu release? Is there a different serial number or something for the official fixed release version? Just asking in terms of buying this on ebay or amazon thru sellers, for example. Don't wanna end up with a brand new but older release version with the 1080i.
