Tower sent me a used Blu-ray - Blu-ray Forum

I bought Dracula about a week ago from Tower for $13.99 (now $12.99), and along with another BD and the free shipping, it turned out to be a pretty good deal. But when it arrived it came w/out the slipcase (though not a big deal), in a plastic wrapping that was hard/tight at the edges, and it had no security stickers. Upon closer inspection, I could see the goo residue and small nail indentation from where the stickers were removed. Inside the case, the usual little black plastic tag (above the disc) was also gone. So there was no doubt it was used. Fortunately the disc was fine, and I actually often buy used BD's, so I'll keep it. But the fact that I paid for a NEW copy from a major online retailer and was sent a used copy is both annoying and surprising. Has this happened to anyone else?

i bought NG from sears and there was no game in it! Can you beat that! Then a week later i bought army of two from walmart and the same dam thing....this was the weirdest thing ever. Has this happen to anyone? I did learn a lesson from this....now i open my games and blu's before i leave the store!

bought a used xbox 360 from walmart once. I wentback and screamed at everyone there for an hour till they gave me another one.

Bought the Spider-Man Trilogy from Best Buy and:

Spider-man 1 BD ended up being a used DVD of Spider-man 1
Spider-man 2 BD ended up being a used DVD of Spider-man 2
Spider-man 3 BD (2-Disc) was missing the BD movie but the BD special features disc was in it.

Rush back to Best Buy and they gave the "You're F@cking Lying" look. The other Customer Service Reps didn't believe me but I went back to the girl who checked me out and she let me change it. Turns out I noticed the shrink wrap was a different plastic. Someone bought it, stole/swapped the discs, reshrinked wrapped and returned it. Best Buy put it back on the shelf and I so happen to grab it.

From the looks of your avatar, maybe you should have hung onto the used one.
