dell computer with blue ray burner

Hi there i recently purchased the dell computer with the blue ray burner.Does anyone know a good program i can use to burn some dvd movies on a blueray disc.I want to send a disc to a friend of mine who has a blueray player.

i do not know a good program but i do know that roxies new program suit suports blu-ray and i think neros dose two

There's a many freeware utilities that support Blu-ray burning, but I am not sure if they are any good. Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 is probally the best, but it cost 100$. http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/cr.../overview.html

I use Roxio's DVDit Pro HD to make Blu-Ray discs from HD content OR DVDs from standard content and it works great, including playing flawlessly in my Sony Blu-Ray player.

That said, Blu-Ray media is a $17-23 and DVDs are under a buck. If the content is standard def DVD, just keep it on DVD media! Yes you could get 3 or 4 standard movies (DVDdual layer) onto a Blu-Ray with much effort, but the economics are against you.
