Default DMP-BD35 Audio Settings...

I know there is a website to let u know what setting are good for picture on a TV BUT is there any for audio on the TV and Blu-ray player.

I was wondering what settings should I use?

I have a Panny 46800U TV.

On the DMP-BD35: Should I use the virtual Surround? and the dialog enhancer?

Are you connecting to a receiver and sound system or the TV?

If a receiver, which one? And what kind of cable/connection?

If the TV, just send it stereo audio. Turn everything else off.

just the TV...

So are u saying the Virtual surround does not work? I tried it and it seemed the sound was louder but i'm not sure if there was a difference, same with the dialog enhancer.

Those modes are for use with sound systems. Send stereo to the TV. Your TV may have similar modes that you can apply in the set.

why would someone need a "Virtual" surround on a sorround sound system?

ALSO, I turned on the "3D" sound on the TV and there isn't any noticable diffenerence.

K thanks...

Virtual surround is a method of encoding surround information in a stereo signal. You need a surround system to use it. Virtual surround used to be used with movies, but not much any more. Game systems still use it a lot. This particular setting controls whether a stereo downmix of a 5.1 movie should include virtual surround information. You want to use the stereo setting because your TV can't process the embedded surround information.

3D on the TV is an attempt to produce a fake surround effect which may or may not work in your room. Sounds like not.
