I just bought, and watched Xmas Vacation. As far as the PQ..not bad..not great...but not bad at all. The AQ...eh

Still...I got it for less than 14 bucks....totally worth it for me.

Here's something out of left field:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies.php?id=1829

It's a performance of the 'Nutcracker' ballet by Tchaikovsky. I've got the BD (not sure why this page indicates that it's Canadian--it's readily available here in the US) and it looks and sounds fantastic.

I'd like to see Surviving Christmas come out on Blu. I never could have believed another Christmas movie could be as funny as Christmas Vacation.

Are you being scarcastic or serious? I heard Surviving Christmas was Ishtar/Gigli bad. Alternatively, Christmas Vacation IS one of the funniest movies of all time.

Didn't that movie kill what was left of Affleck's acting career?

Absolutely. Both are nice upgrades over the DVD, and they are excellent movies as well.

The Polar Express, good movie and it's spectacular on BD.

I would get the Santa Clause but only in a set with all 3 movies in BD.

Jingle All The way I would probably not get, saw it once it was alright but I don't see myself watching it again. Same for Home Alone.

I would love on BD for these xmas movies

Muppets Christmas Carol
How The Grinch Stole Christmas (animation and live action)
Miracle on 34th Street (1990's version)

Was released just recently. Decent transfer from what I understand, considering the source material.
