Default Receivers with customizable input labelling?

Are there receivers that let you make custom labels for the inputs? I like how my Sony XBR lets me customize the input labels, but when using a receiver I wouldn't need to change the tv's inputs anymore.

My Sony STR DG 720 lets me name my inputs and so does the DG 820 & 920

Pretty sure a Onkyo can do the same

My pioneer processor has the same feature, although I would thinkit would be standard.

Do you mean customized by naming what inputs are for each inputs if so I think they all do. Or are you talking about in the back where you plug everything in?

My pioneer receiver allows me to name which inputs are controlled by which buttons on the front. For example, I have 4 componant inputs on the back. It allows me to name that input 1 is for my HD cable box. I can say that "componant 1" is now for TV/SAT button on the front panel. And you can name which audio input goes with which componant input.

For Onkyo models, the 606 does not have input labeling, but the last year's 705 did. So i'm guessing that this year's 706 and above can do it as well.

No, I meant allowing me to label HDMI 1 as Bluray, HDMI 2 as Cable Box, HDMI 3 as Xbox 360, etc. on the gui of the receiver. The family can't memorize a few inputs it seems and just sit confused by the tv until I help them out. I keep saying worst case scenario just try every input until you find whatever you want but I guess that is too daunting too

I'll check out some of the suggestions people made. Thanks for your help guys

The Sony STR-DA4300ES and Sony STR-DA5300ES also allow you to re-name the inputs as well. The links are just for convenience - you can find both models for a lot less on the Web...

The Pioneer Elite series lets you do that.
