Hey Everyone, I was wondering what tv shows you liked a lot but were cancelled before they even hit their prime.
For me: Arrested Development Undeclared Greg The Bunny Freaks and Geeks Futurama (I know they kinda revived it but I wish it was still on every week) Last edited by dvd_mazter; 11-26-2008 at 03:10 PM. |

Firefly, Fox, New Amsterdam, FOX, Arrested Development, FOX!, Greg the Bunny (if you're talking about the 2002 show), FOX!!!, The Lone Gunmen, #$&* FOX!!!, Keen Eddie...
You see the pattern? This is why I didn't even bother getting in to Fringe, I figured it would be canceled by now. ![]() |

That's why ratings dropped across the board, yet networks blame the shows and let things continue to spiral out of control. Bill Hunt makes a good speech about it.

Arrested Development
And then there's shows I've never seen and really want to, but I'm aware they were canceled without plot resolutions. That makes me reluctant to watch them. I'm looking at you HBO. Carnivale and Deadwood need endings! |

Absolutely satisfactory. DO NOT miss those shows because there was not a difinitive ending. The acting and writing and characters are better than 95% of the movies Hollwood puts out. SERIOUS. |

I'd say:
The Tick (live action version - hilarious! maybe could have managed another season) Journeyman (probably one of my favorite new shows in years) Sports Night (well written, much like Studio 60 - both were Aaron Sorkin shows) Studio 60 Arrested Development (at least another season or two) Pushing Daisies (deserved at least another season) Kitchen Nightmares (very entertaining for some reason) There's several other shows I really liked and wanted more of, but I feel like any show that manages to last more than 4 seasons had a pretty good run... namely: Boston Legal (this is the last season) Futurama (best writing of any cartoon, hands down - hope it comes back for real, but the movies are better than nothing) Ed |

It's a testament to how amazing Firefly was that it shows up so much on this list despite the fact that so few episodes were made. It never even got the chance to hit it's stride and it was still great. The show never had a chance, but Serenity is a pretty good consolation prize for losing it.
