Default To show off my Blu should I set it to zoom or leave it as full?

Just wondering what do you think would leave the spectators in more awe? If the picture is kept as default with the black bars or zoom which I dont think is even that noticeable?

leave it full dude. Never zoom. You'll kill the quality doing that. You want "AWE" not "Hmm?"

What you should do is rip that button off your remote altogether. Just pretend it never existed.

+1 Never ever, if you want it to be 'full screen' then i suggest finding a blu with a specific ratio, i think it is 1.85:1? Not sure but it looks like it is full with no black bars, I don't even notice them

Two ways to leave your "spectators" in awe:

1) Build yourself a constant-height projection system so that you get that true home theater feel.

2) Explain to your "spectators" why there is black bars on your HDTV so that they marvel at your technical know-how.

If you don't do either, you'll leave them at "Awww."

I agree with the zoom feature as it lowers the quality of the picture, but sharpness control comes in handy when calibrating a set. Once it's set to the correct sharpness it's best left alone.

They have a terrible reputation in the AV industry for one thing.
