is this a good sub for the price? All of the reviews are positive on Amazon. I currently have a 10" Onkyo sub that shakes the entire house but I'm selling it along with the receiver and other speakers as a package and so I need a new sub.

I currently have a Sony STR-DG920 amp and Tuesday my new Polk Monitor 50s and CS2 speakers are coming in. If I order this sub today or tomorrow, it will come in at the same time thanks to Prime, so I'm looking for something that will knock my socks off for around $200 and from what I have found, this sub is the best bet.

I too was looking at this sub, but could not find any reviews other than amazon. So I went with a Premier Acoustic PA-120, because of the good reviews on avs. It was only 230 shipped.

BIC is a great speaker company. If you want more information on all their subs go to the website. Just type Bic America in google. I think they have reviews for all of their speakers.

You won't be let down at all with this sub. All of their $200 - $300 subs produce top of their class performance.

It's replacing the venerable H-100. *edit* Looks like it's $499- thought I saw it cheaper than that.

going for $229 on ebay shipped, I just prefer a down firing sub. I heard they tend to have better "punch"

Mike Embers over at Acoustic Sound Design has the PA-120 ranked over the H-100 and under the VK-12 while all are made on the same line, at the same company. I like my PA-120, rocks!...

Thinking of spending more and getting the pl200. From what I have read it's definitely worth it. Any input?

Great set up. I like the two sub idea. Buy a second F12 and put them in opposite corners and I think you'll like the result.

Every receiver under $2000 is really .1.

If it says .2, it has in internal splitter.

Which you can buy a 2-pack on ebay for 99 cents.

So two F12's are better than one PL-200. But that would be at least $120 more.

Ill probably just go with the PL-200 cause anything more than $300 is out of my price range right now.

Ok. Ur call. I think based on room size you'll use less than half of its capabilities. But I do like the fact that the PL 200 has a lower range than the F 12. And I am a believer of " Go big or go home"!

Hello all, found this forum w/ some googling. Am a newbie to BIC and figured I would post here. Lots of good info on posts and research I've seen.

If I am the wrong place, my apologies.

I am going to be receiving a brand new BIC Eviction Series RTR-EV1200 sub w/a DV 52 center channel. I have been contemplating doing some changes in my small HTR, painting, speakers, etc prob 10x12, man cave really and was wondering if anyone here can give me some feedback on this equipment. I ran across BIC from my awards program through my employer, did some reading, etc and found really good rating info on pretty much all of it.

I currently have a small polk setup, rm6600's I think w/ a Velodyne CHT8, had this setup for years, no probs, just looking at something new. Don't really even know what I'm going to do yet, figured since I can get this equipment basically free I'd check it out. Not sure about bookshelfs, towers, surrounds yet, on a budget and just dreaming. I think I may have jumped the gun w/ the sub as it's looking like it's overkill, but IDK.

Any info is appreceiated.
