Jobs with Blu Ray - Blu-ray Forum

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows of any job/career opportunities with Blu-Ray. I recently graduated college with a degree in Marketing and Psychology and would love a job with Blu-Ray, preferably something in Marketing/PR/Sales. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

BD is a format. It is not a company. I guess the BDA might have a bit of staff, but a job would mean working for a company. You could work at a CE (like Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer....) you could work at a studio (like Disny, Fox....) you could work at a retailer (like Best buy....) with a BD related job.

No, I know that it is a format, and not a company. I mean I would like to work somewhere with a company with emphasis in blu ray.

Look for a media company, such as a studio (Disney, Fox, etc) a manufacturer (Sony, Sharp, etc), a developer (Sony), or a disc publisher. You can actually work for a company that publishes professional movie DVDs and Blu-rays for studios.

You could look into working at the DEG - Digitel Entertainment Group. They are a marketing firm responsible for much of the Blu-ray promotion, like they were at the onset of DVD.
