Torchwood Series 2 - Blu-ray Forum

With Torchwood Series 3 on the way to broadcast, and having finally gotten around to watching my Torchwood Series 1 blu-rays, I wonder when we can expect an announcement for Torchwood Series 2 on Blu-Ray.
Any thoughts? I'm anxious for it.

I thought I read an old interview where the showrunner said only the first season was actually shot in HD...

I don't see anything that would suggest as much. Searching for HD & Torchwood yields discussion about how it's available in HD but doesn't always show that way.
Also both series 1 and 2 ran on HDNET. I doubt Cuban would buy an upconvert.

OK, my mistake. Actually it's Doctor Who that's not in HD because of it's higher FX bill.

Sadly Dr. Who will be SD for this reason, but at least (one day) Torchwood can be on Blu, if only in 1080i.
I'm surprised today that any scripted series is produced without 1080p in mind.

I really do need my Torchwood fix.
